$25 - 40 (sliding scale) per session.
This Workshop is for adults and families!
No Experience Necessary.
(Families are invited to bring their kids ages 10 and up. We unforunately cannot accomodate any younger kids)
Come for one or both sessions!
(This workshop is tailored to accomdate participants who'd like to attend once, or continue to expand on their creations from the previous day)

Mask Making Fun!
Did you know Mardi Gras masks in New Orleans used to be banned??
Be a part of the subversive history of mask making and wearing in our current age of technofacist surveillance!
Join Playdoh and Friends for a Mask Making Workshop utilizing recycled materials, odds and ends to create glamorous, bizarre or one-of-a-kind creations!
You will have the option to work from a papermache mask base as a template, or start from scratch with provided materials. We will go over ways to transform ordinary trash like plastic bags and beads, or natural materials like palm fronds and reeds, into texture and design elements in your work.
You are encouraged to RSVP and purchase a ticket ahead of time as space is limited.

You're also welcome to bring any special materials you want to work with, a potato chip bag you would have thrown away, or an interesting stick you walked by on your way over!
