Since 2015, I have had to opportunity to work with members of the Native communities in and around Sault Ste Marie, Michigan and a diverse group of visiting artistic collaborators to form the Anishinaabe Theatre Exchange.

ATE tells the stories of contemporary indigenous histories, issues and traditions through theatre and dialogue. To learn more about the work of ATE please visit their website!

Shown below are some photos reflecting my contribution to the project as an actor in the production of "50 Cents A Pound" and my role as a graphic designer, writer, workshop coordinator and collaborator for the company.

All photos are by John R. Diehl. More photos are available on the ATE website.
